Café 33 is a locally owned, woman-owned café on Fulton Ave in Sacramento — the kind of place where the barista learns your order, the art on the walls is your neighbor's, and the honey came from a few miles away.
The meaning behind the name.
33 is the “Master Teacher” — the number of compassion, creativity and generosity. It carries the joyful, expressive energy of the number 3, doubled, and stands for the idea that good things happen when a community nurtures and shows up for one another.
That's the café we set out to build: warm, a little generous with everything, and here to teach a neighborhood how good a simple morning can be.

Honey from neighbors with bees.
We work with local beekeepers to sell their raw honey right at the café. It's a small thing that says a lot about how we like to do business — support the people around us, and share the good stuff with you.
